I currently live in County Durham with my husband and two young children.  A qualified teacher, I have a passion for maths, along with many types of music, and have a wide experience of teaching in both classroom and individual situations.

When teaching, I strive to provide a warm, friendly and relaxed environment.  I believe that learning should first and foremost be fun, and will go to great lengths to encourage and build confidence in my pupils.

I have taught maths for over20 years both in schools and privately,  and have extensive experience of teaching from Primary up to GCSE level. I have Grade 8 piano, have sung in a number of choirs and play the violin, penny whistle and recorder. I have a love of traditional music and enjoy calling for a local ceilidh band.
